Will waxing your legs make the hair grow back thinner?

And if you do it often enough, will it stop growing? Will waxing your legs make the hair grow back thinner?
Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.

Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.

A review of the various hair removal methods is available at http://tinyurl.com/ob6ttWill waxing your legs make the hair grow back thinner?
I think that it is likely to grow thinner, but you have to do it on a regular basis (and never ever shave!)

And if you do it regularly it will make hair grow slower so it lasts longer. That's the great advantage of waxing.

Hair might stop growing after many years of waxing your hair. But not in the short run. (My mom did most of her life, hardly has any hair now in her 50's)

Hot waxing is more effective than cold waxing.
I've been waxing for almost five years now. (I have it done professionally.) I find that, over time, the hair growth tends to become thinner. But I'm told that varies depending on the person.

Certainly, I feel smoother for longer than shaving, because the hair that grows back isn't stubble.

I suggest trying waxing over a period of six months or so and seeing the results for yourself.

Waxing won't stop the hair growing entirely, though. If you want to permanently depilate, consult a professional about electrolysis or laser treatment.
YES, waxing pulls the hair out by the roots so the regrowth is actually softer and slower. Only shaving makes it grow back thicker and rougher ( or at least it sure feels that way).
I had a full leg and bikini wax three weeks ago as I was going on holiday. They say it lasts for 4 -5 weeks but my leg hair started coming through after a week. You have to exfoliate everyday which I did but I have now got a lot of in growing hairs which makes your legs look really spotty.

I really wouldn't recommend it to anybody just stick to hair removing cream.
didn't you see the seinfeld episode where kramer.....
It has on mine
yes, regular waxing reduces the intensity of hair growth. Waxing helps in only temporarily reducing hair growth. It is not a permanent cure.
yes waxing your legs will make them grow back thiner but they will grow back faster and longer!
well waxing....

what it does actually the hair is taken out from the roots. the roots of the hair because of the mecanical impact are demaged and yes the hair will grow thiner and in time will become more and more rare. and u should always look for the hot waxing...

in 6 month of repetitive waxing (no shaving) u will see that 1/3 of the hair u had it doesnt grow anymore. If u will use a silkepil device u will not have the same results because these device can brake the hair from the base.
yeah. thats the best about waxing. ur hair get thinner, shorter, grows back slower, and is lighter. you have to get at it a few times and eventually u notice the difference. waxing is also great for ur skin makes it smooth and healthy.
some say it does make it grow thinner but for me that didn't happen it grew the same and i only waxed my legs for two years in a row. it cant make your hair stop growing even if you wax for 35 years straight, for that to happen you have to kill the root and waxing just pulls them out it doesn't kill them.
no
I don't think so
MAY BE BUT IF U SHAVE THEN DEFINATELY IT WILL GROW THICK
yes it will be thinner in time but not really stop growing to a certain point, it will just lessen the amount of hair growing
